AccidentAccident by Danielle Steel
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Accident epitomizes the saying that life can change in the blink of an eye.

One poor decision leads to an unforeseeable tragedy and Page’s once perfect life starts to resemble the aftermath of a warzone. Her daughter Allyson’s life is hanging in the balance after a horrific car accident that left the driver of the car she was in dead and her best friend Chloe, who is a dancer, with two broken legs. Page’s family is ripped apart not by the accident itself but by the lies the accident reveals.

The pace of the story helps to bring the full force of the tragedy to the forefront while not making the story overly dramatic. Throughout this book you will be forced to hold your breath, sigh in relief, burn with anger, and cry in sadness and joy.
This is a great story that has all the more impact on the reader because of the very high potential of being a true story.
