Chose the Wrong Guy, Gave Him the Wrong FingerChose the Wrong Guy, Gave Him the Wrong Finger by Beth Harbison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Quinn didn’t have grandiose plans for her future; she wanted to be a wife and a mother and live happily ever after at Grace Farms. Simple, neat, and seemingly easily achievable but not for Quinn. Ever since the day she called off her wedding moments before walking down the aisle, her life sort of stalled out. Quinn is in a rut and she has been for ten long years. How can you look forward to a bright future when you’re clinging to a past riddled with heartache? Enter Glenn and Dottie, two of Quinn’s friends who shove her out of her comfort zone and force her to confront the demons of the past that she has unsuccessfully tried to bury and ignore.

“From an energy standpoint, you would be shifting everything! This could be spiritual Drano for you!”

Beth Harbison has written a light, funny story about a woman trying to come to grips with her past so that she has the opportunity for a happier future. Readers won’t be able to help themselves from laughing at some of the antics of the characters. At other times, you may want to punch one or two of them. However, the end of the book will leave readers with a smile and a sense that all is right in the world.
